Based on the results of the early rice sampling survey, the national early rice sown area, yield per unit area, and total yield in 2025 are as follows:

1. The national early rice sown area is 4,742,900 hectares (71.143 million mu), a decrease of 12,000 hectares (179,000 mu) from 2024, a decrease of 0.3%.

2. The national early rice yield per unit area is 6,011.9 kg/hectare (400.8 kg/mu), an increase of 86.5 kg/hectare (5.8 kg/mu) from 2024, a growth of 1.5%.

3. The national total early rice output is 28.513 million tons (57.03 billion jin), an increase of 339,000 tons (680 million jin) from 2024, a growth of 1.2%.
