According to the latest data released by Nanjing Customs, from January to July 2025, Jiangsu's total foreign trade imports and exports increased by 5.2% year-on-year to 3.31 trillion yuan, accounting for 12.9% of the national total. Exports accounted for 2.21 trillion yuan, a 9.3% increase. Recently, Nanjing Customs released a table of the volume and value of major imports and exports of Jiangsu Province from January to July 2025. The import and export figures for agricultural machinery are as follows:

Import Status

In July 2025, Jiangsu Province imported 2,301 units of agricultural machinery, valued at RMB 50 million. From January to July, the cumulative import volume reached 28,690 units, a year-on-year decrease of 97.1%. The cumulative import value reached RMB 380 million, a year-on-year decrease of 39.6%.

Harvesting machinery: 48 units were imported that month, valued at RMB 40 million. From January to July, the cumulative import volume reached 207 units, a year-on-year decrease of 16.2%. The cumulative import value reached RMB 250 million, a year-on-year increase of 22.4%.

Tractors: 12 units were imported from January to July, a year-on-year decrease of 97.4%. The cumulative import value reached RMB 10 million, a year-on-year decrease of 97.9%.

Export Status

In July 2025, Jiangsu Province exported 799,949 units of agricultural machinery for a total value of 1.25 billion yuan. From January to July, the cumulative export volume reached 8,823,941 units, a year-on-year decrease of 23.4%, while the cumulative export value reached 10.28 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 30%.

Tractor exports: 3,925 units were exported for a total value of 250 million yuan. From January to July, the cumulative export volume reached 22,174 units, a year-on-year increase of 42.4%, while the cumulative export value reached 1.45 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 41.3%.
